We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This may become our Thanksgiving tradition. The place was beautiful, clean and was exactly what we needed. Thank you for all your patience while I worked to find Jerry places to stay while working on the island. He and John loved Gentle Winds / Caribbean Breeze as well. In both places it is clear they are loved just bas you love your own home, which make them wonderful places to stay. I will be in touch about pre-booking next Thanksgiving!

- Pool man came- all is great. Exterminator came - downstairs
- The yard man came but did not mow. He trimmed but could have taken time to mow. The grass is not too high but will not be cut for your next guests.

Beautiful property - big yard & very well maintained.

Accommodations nice - well stocked - towels, kitchen items, etc.

We have stayed at many places with our family. Villa Dawn is by far the best equipped place we have EVER stayed at! So many amenities for the beach and all we needed in the kitchen. The view is spectacular!! We got up daily, early, so we could enjoy it. We loved the proximity to restaurants and diving. Sweet Bottom folks were great, as well as eat@canebay and Spratnet. We were sad to have to leave! The pool was so nice! Thank you again for everything!!!

We had such a wonderful time in your vacation home. So beautiful - enjoyed the covered porch and looking out to the sea and sunsets. The pool was great and kept very clean. The yard was kept up nicely. Very thoughtful of you to have some provisions as in toilet paper, dish soap, laundry soap, etc. for when we came. Plenty of towels for all of us too.

Overall - we loves staying here and would come back or we would even be interested in renting your other place (condo) if we come back. Y

Everything was great during our trip. We really had no problems and loved the place. There are some changes on the island due to things closing, etc. from the previous storms. One of these changes is that the Cane Bay Dive Shop location on Cane Bay Beach is no longer there, it is now Sweet Bottom dive shop. This is just an FYI. We did use Cane Bay Dive Shop and they were great.

Please note: Cane Bay Dive Shop is still doing North Shore dives and is still offering all the services they offered in Cane Bay. They are looking for another North Shore location for a shop, but for now their Base of Operations is their shop in Frederiksted across from the pier.

Hey there - Thanks a lot for making your home available to us. It’s been an incredible stay. The place really is amazing, possibly one of the best views I’ve seen at sunset from the hammock.

We are leaving earlier than planned and will be out of the house in the next 10 mins (11:40). We washed most of the cups and plates, stripped the beds, and set aside all of the sheets and towels to make it easier for the cleaning crew.

The house & grounds were in excellent condition. The pool guys & yard guy were professional & friendly. The instructions you provided were thorough & accurate.

The house is spectacular! The yard is absolutely beautiful and impeccably kept, and the pool was fantastic. I can't say enough good things about this house. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay here, it made our family vacation perfect.

We went out diving and saw loads of wonderful things! We saw some lionfish, a massive school of Jackfish that circled us, and we also had three large reef sharks swimming around us wanting to get the lionfish. Snorkeling was also amazing, we found so many new coral growths! We went around the pier and saw octopus, a large manta ray and so many other types of wildlife!

On one of the snorkeling trips I found a conch shell, but was told I wasn't allowed to keep it so I had to put it back. So I went to the gift shop and bought one for you as a thank you gift. I hope you like it.

We had a wonderful week at Villa Dawn. Great views - fun at the beach and pool. Thank you for all you did - Generators - fans - to make our stay a memorable one under not so normal circumstances. We called it "Glamping" - Glamour Camping. Thanks again for what you did for us.

(These guests had a family vacation planned at Villa Dawn for December 2017. There were 14 of them! After hurricane Maria hit in Sept. 2017, there was still not going to be power for them in December. After all of the planning that they did for the vacation, they didn't want to cancel it. They still wanted to come to Villa Dawn! We did everything we could to make their stay as comfortable as possible)

Kent & Dawn-
What a relaxing place you have and that you are willing to share it with others. Our friends Bob & Jan kept telling me "how did you find this place?" I told them I had the "luck of the Irish" --- along with the Luck I searched "homeaway.com". Everything at the villa was perfect - the pool, the decor, it was very clean and the grill was outstanding. We all enjoyed days in the pool, grilling out, nights playing cards. The week went way too fast. We all agree we will be coming back to Villa Dawn!

We really enjoyed our stay on the island and your home was a bonus for us because we brought our kids this trip. We thoroughly enjoyed reading the journals from past visitors, the puzzles and games, reading material about the island, and, of course the pool.

Thanks for renting us Villa Dawn! It was such a great place! Here are the keys back! There were no problems at the house. I did make a couple of calls to my mother in Massachusetts who is 80 and not in great health, just to check on her. I did not get cell service at the house. Please let me know what I owe you for these. You can email me at....and I can send you a check or you can charge my credit card!

Thanks so much for the hospitality. We had a great 10 days at Villa Dawn and will keep it in mind for future trips to St. Croix. Location on the north shore is great, the pool and views are wonderful and we loved that it is close to everything yet nice and secluded.

Hello Kent and Dawn:
Thank you so much for the use of your Villa. We had a wonderful time. The villa was very spacious and well equipped. The pool was ideal for the kids after a long day of exploring the island it was a great place to cool off, have a cocktail and admire the sunsets. Views were spectacular and the location was great - nice and quite!!!! Amazingly, I was able to find it!!!!! We took your suggestions and did Big Beard, Cruzan Cowgirls Beer Drinking Pigs, Rum Tour, Angry Nates and Off the Wall. They were all very good. We dined at the Waves our last night which was also excellent.

Lastly, a big thanks for the late check-out. That was extremely helpful!!!! Just wanted you to know that before we left we made sure all bath and beach towels were washed, dried and put away, we swept all the rooms including the back and front porch, wiped down all the counter tops and glass tables, emptied all trash and cleaned out the fridge and all dishes were washed and put away. We really left it like we found it!   "Now, these are the kind of guests we love!" :)

First of all the villa was a beautiful experience. I took my in-laws to the island for the first time, the location & views were superb. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your villa. We have plans to return to St. Croix in the future and would love to stay at the villa again. The accommodations at the villa was very comforting & well thought of. We had a great trip and returned home safely. I would like to know if we did all that we were to do upon checking out. We have thought extensively about what more you could have done to accommodate us and for us it was nothing. Oh, the shower by the steps was not operational due to water valve handle not present, that was all we saw. If there is anything you were displeased about our stay, please let us know, because just as you want to be great hosts, we want to be great tenants. Thank you very much!

Kent & Dawn: Thanks for everything. We enjoyed Villa Dawn very much. My wife and I have been going to the island for 14 years and enjoyed the location at Cane Bay. The other couple had never been to STX and loved everything except the winding roads! They loved the proximity to the Waves @ Cane Bay and walking to Off the Wall.

Everything worked fine while we were there. We really like that the villa was so well equipped with dishware, glassware, etc. I like the excellent organization of your communications, etc. I also commend you on maintenance. The water pressure is very good and unlike other properties I've stayed at all the appliances worked well.

Stay @ Villa Dawn was great. House had everything we needed and then some. I broke a broom trying to clean a little but went and bought another one. No big deal. Pool was great, that's where we spent most of our time. The location of the villa is great...walking distance to 3 bars and perfect location for the sunsets, even though we didn't get any good ones. All in All Villa Dawn was a great place to stay!

Had a fantastic vacation and stay at Villa Dawn. The only issue we had was an ant problem on the patio which we expect is common on the island. (It can be at times. We have the villa treated monthly for pests and we had a special treatment for the ants based on your comments. Thanks!)

We had a wonderful time at Villa Dawn. We found the villa to be very well equipped. We used the washer / dryer once during our stay. Worked well. We also enjoyed the bluetooth for our music. It was an excellent idea to bring the GPS. Very helpful and don't know what we would have done without it! Even the personal chef from Ziggy's found everything needed to cook a beautiful meal! We loved every minute of our relaxing vacation. Thank you!

We had a fabulous time at your villa. Very spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed there. We spent 2 weeks. The first with 6 retired adults. We enjoyed the pool & lounging with Pina Coladas on the veranda. The second week was our family, 2 adult children with spouses and five grands from 1 1/2 to 11 years old. Used the pool every day. Tried many beaches and restaurants including ones on Cane Bay. All agreed it was the best vacation ever. Thanks for the use of your villa. We would recommend it to everyone.

Villa was great. Particularly loved the pool, size, view. Loved the fact that you had every type of appliance and/or kitchen utensil needed! Our bathroom was the perfect size! Bed comfy.

We were initially nervous not having anyone to meet us @ the villa, but it turned out fine!

We had an amazing time and the best part was Villa Dawn! Your home is wonderful, perfectly located and better equipped than many other VRBO/Homeaway rentals we have stayed in over the years. The beds are comfortable, the grounds well kept, and the location can't be beat. Having both eat@canebay (try the duck chili) and Off the Wall within walking distance was great. Add Rowdy Joes and Above the Cliff minutes away and you never have to leave the area to have a great vacation. The team down at Cane Bay Dive Shop is excellent to work with, make sure you dive the pier at night! I hope we respected your home enough to be back for another stay.

Not even been home a week and miss Villa Dawn immensely - loved, loved, loved everything about it - kitchen awesome, well stocked and could cook and look at the amazing views - Deck - out of this world, such an amazing gathering place - lived on the deck. The pool - just beautiful. Loved the location on St. Croix - sort of right in the middle. Love the restaurants all around and beach bars.
