Nestled in the valleyed northwestern section of St. Croix is the Laurence Rockefeller built and Robert Trent Jones-designed Carambola Golf Course. Since opening thirty years ago, the Carambola Golf Club has been awarded a gold medal by GOLF magazine for being one of the finest golf resorts in the world and given a four-star rating by Golf Digest. The par-72 St. Croix golf course winds through a lush valley, with several spring-fed lakes doubling as water hazards on seven picturesque holes. Bright tropical foliage and rolling terrain gives an exotic appeal with nearly 100 bunkers providing a stern test for the accomplished golfer. Four sets of tee markers and ample landing areas also makes Carambola a golf course players of all skill levels can enjoy. A beautiful 9 hole golf course with fescue lined fairways winding through the hills overlooking Teague Bay on the east end of St. Croix. Tee-to-green is very playable for all skill levels and with the most challenging greens on island, it still provides a test for even the more experienced player. The Reef driving range is a great place to warm up or practice. Lessons are available. The Iguana at The Reef is our professionally designed 18 hole disc golf course - the first disc golf course in the Caribbean! Ideal test for the player that possesses a vast array of shots but very playable for a beginner. The Reef has five new pickleball courts and a tennis court.
